Lending a helping hand
Fighting cancer is something patients and families should not go through alone. First and foremost, the goal of Scare Away Cancer is to offer financial assistance to help pay for bills, food, lodging, etc.
We have grown since our first event, and we are now in a position to give to more families throughout the year. Scare Away Cancer is run 100% by volunteers. Be assured your support and donations are going directly to the the patients, families, and programs we support.
Watch the videos on this page and hear from some of the families our donors have helped.
Do you know someone who needs help in their battle against cancer? We can help! Take the time to fill out this questionnaire and send it back to us. We look at every case and do our best to respond immediately.
Isabel Katherine Fuccio was our first pediatric cancer honoree. Affectionately known as Bella, this 12-year old lit up the room at Anthony's Steakhouse with her smile, charm, and her determination to beat cancer.
Unfortunately, Bella lost her battle on April 11, 2014, just two days shy of her 14th birthday. We continue to honor her spirit at our event with Bella's Board; a place where attendees can honor people they know who are battling cancer or have lost their battle with the disease.
